Born under the sign of Sagittarius in 1953. Iroquois Falls, Ontario
Gisèle started at a very young age to develop an interest in art. Her parents encouraged her by enrolling her in a 4-year study course with Famous Artist School of Connecticut founded by Norman Rockwell for young talented people. Inspired by nature and everyday life, Gisèle brings out a special atmosphere. The freshness and softness mingles with the magical creativity. A notion of unfinished fantasy invites us to appreciate her art work.
Motivated by her passion, family and friends, she participates in solo, group shows and symposiums in Quebec and Ontario , winning awards and mentions.
May 2007, Gisèle participated with Quebec artists at the « Symposium de Peinture de la Mauricie, « Centre des Arts, Shawinigan.
« Société Canadienne de L’Aquarelle has awarded her two mentions for her spontaneity.
In the prestigious collection of the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame, hangs 15 watercolors of Sports figures, of which Gisèle painted two recent paintings, Steve Atkinson, NHL hockey player and Carmen Redmond, muzzle loading discipline, who were unveiled at the Induction ceremony, October 3, 2007.
She now resides in St. Lazare with her family. Eager and motivated to learn new techniques, Gisele continues her acknowledgment through workshops with Jacques Hébert , Nasco Kafadorov, Louise Lachance-Legault and Diane St. George.
She shares her passion through workshops with young and adults in her studio and in Ontario
Watercolors and oils are her favorite mediums. They allow me to express fluidity and spontaneity, movement and expression brings my art work alive and singing.

Joan started painting in the mid '80s while stationed in New Brunswick with her military husband. Her paintings hang in 6 provinces and Germany as a result.
While in New Brunswick, she studied with Ellen Gosse and Joyce Johnson both students of prominent Atlantic artist Bill Alexander.
Her motto is "kwwp on paingint and learning as long as it's fun!'
